Admission Requirements

Admission to the Veterinary Medical Sciences Graduate Program is formally granted by the Faculty of Graduate Studies. In addition to the Faculty of Graduate Studies minimum admission requirements and requirements for international students, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine requires the following:

Minimum education

A Baccalaureate degree** or its equivalent from a recognized institution with a minimum admission grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 grade point scale or equivalent, and a minimum of 3.0 during the last 2 years (60 credit hours) of study;

English language proficiency

Proficiency in the English language. Applicants whose primary language is not English are required to provide proof of proficiency in English, a minimum TOEFL score of 580 (pbt), or 97 (ibt), a minimum IELTS score of 7.0, or a minimum MELAB score of 83.
